About Us
Kidz Konnekt is established to act as a resource for young people up to the age of 25 years of age living in the North of England by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities.
Who?
Kidz Konnekt is a registered charity who work with young people aged between 0 and 25 years old living in the North East. Kidz Konnekt started in 2004 as a pilot project which highlighted a need for youth work projects in the area. Kidz Konnekt therefore became a constituted group and volunteers delivered weekly sessions through consultation with young people.
What?
Kidz Konnekt provide a wide range of youth services including after school Youth Clubs, Youth Leadership, Outdoor Education and Adventure Activities, Emotional Wellbeing support, school holiday programmes, music groups and events.
All of our sessions are youth led and we hold regular consultation with the community through our events. Our Youth Leaders group also plays a key role influencing Kidz Konnekt future plans and developments.
